Welcome to the recruit group Ltd, (trg) where we pride ourselves on our ability to offer a “One Stop” solution to our clients.
Established in 1999 as Southern Recruit, trg has grown rapidly and is now regarded as one of the UK’s leading specialist, independent driving providers, currently operating with more than 800 HGV1 drivers.
Our emphasis on providing quality staff for the Logistics industry, and in particular, specialising in the Retail sector has resulted in our successful support of many of the high street brand names.
trg currently has a client base that includes some of the largest retail groups in the UK and supplies Logistics services from Day Hire and Lane work through to Contract Management and full fleet responsibility.
In 2010 we were pleased to announce the launch of trg Haulage, which was seen as a perfect complement to our existing business of supplying HGV driver and warehouse personnel. We are currently the only agency with our own Road Haulage Fleet.
Our Road Haulage division boasts a fleet of brand new 44 tonne vehicles, providing our clients with a “One Stop” solution for both their driver and vehicle needs.
Our current fleet consists of DAF and Renault Premiums all in trg Haulage livery. 90% of the fleet is brand new and benefits from the motor industry’s latest technology focus in the reduction of Carbon Emissions. In addition all vehicles are Euro compliant and have full maintenance, replacement and recovery packages in place.
As part of the recruit group Ltd growth, in June 2009 a Subsidiary Company was created called ‘Continue Training Ltd’ (CTL). CTL is a training company delivering ‘Driver Certificate of Professional Competence’ (CPC), and Driver NVQ training which will be mandatory government legislation by 2014. CTL is a totally dedicated training facility exclusive to the recruit group Ltd.
Thus, we are now the first agency to have a dedicated training company that is part of the RTITB Consortium and able to deliver RTITB Driver CPC qualifications. All of our assessors are trained to A1 and RTITB standard – JAUPT (Joint Approved Unit for Periodic Training) approved.
